Andrew Shaffer of Holly Springs, North Carolina, is a finance and accounting student at Wake Technical Community College. He has a strong academic background. Prior to college, Andrew Shaffer graduated from Holly Springs High School with a 3.97 GPA, an ACT score of 35, AP Scholar with Distinction recognition, and an AP Capstone Diploma. Ranked 12th in a class of more than 500 students, he also served as captain of the varsity tennis team and participated in the student council, DECA business competitions, National Honor Society, and National Math Honor Society.
While studying at Wake Technical Community College, Mr. Shaffer has founded and operates Shaffer Resale LLC, a product reselling business that generates approximately $10,000 in monthly revenue and $4,000 in profit. Through market research and pricing analysis on online sales platforms such as eBay and Facebook Marketplace, he identifies undervalued products and then applies strategic marketing and logistics operations to resell at a profit.
Mr. Shaffer has also worked in hospitality, landscaping, and youth mentorship, building strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Outside of work and school, he enjoys golf, skiing, pickleball, music, and travel. He has solo traveled throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, and Central America.
